Zanmai Promotion!

there will be some promotion starting from Friday 29th August on rolls/maki.

Five rolls through 5 different periods.

this is "Volcano Roll"

[ tried it. it's pretty good ]

I've also tried the next roll on promotion after Volcano which is "Pheonix Roll" with shishamo in it. Again.Really good.

Senjyu Sushi

Awhile back not long after it's opening, I went to check out this restaurant with Ryan.
Here's what we ate..

Sake Kabuto Shioyaki [ this is really good ]

Oyster & Foie Gras Maki [ Ichiban! ]

Senjyu Sushi is under the same management with that of Sakae Sushi but of a totally different concept. Senjyu is really good but not something I'll eat very very often. And this place really looks dead most of the times.
Nevertheless, it's very good.

Random-ness

Here goes something pretty random.

I think I found Billy Lim's house in USJ. I took the car out for lunch with Lan and a lil joy ride then we came upon this patriotic figure. Made purely out of "Dare to Fail" books. And the Two logos on the gate is the logo of a book [ used by Billy Lim during his Political rally ]. Sounds crazy but it was some random fun.haha.

This is what you get - when your boss' name is Zhang from Sushi Zanmai, having to get hold of your camera [ this is not the ONLY picture I have ]. *notice my sarcastic pose. LG is a stoner.hahaha.

I just wanted to take this picture [ during work ]. I don't know why. Piggy Hui staring at the blender. - what happens next was purely priceless. Hint : someone had a big sip of that freaky red liquid we called Strawberry Syrup.And that someone gave comment on it thinking it was real strawberry juice.Priceless I say.haha.

we were not supposed to play with the Hello Panda suit stored in the restaurant.and you think?

3 more days to go! it will be 2 busy days though. What's on the 30th? I think all I can do is watch fireworks outside Piramid.So anyone wanna spend this precious moment with me? haha

I met Mr.Patrick Daya today [ he took a week's MC.First MC since 1989.what the hell.I know ].Funny & Sarcastic as hell.

Life's getting so much more Personal again..

I have no intention of leaving Minutes into Years, its just that sometimes I feel so weird blogging in a group blog. SOMETIMES . haha
Im just gonna revive this "humble" blog of mine now but Im author for a couple of blogs including Growing Pains of DH27.

I know there's alot of catching up to do but..
Hey! let's just start from today.

my off day on a Saturday.It was pretty good overall. Met up with Lan - had breakfast in my house.Caught up with tv a lil.then we just kinda hangout and chatted for a long time about how lucky he is to have Wai Yen in his life. about my pretty-single-for-a-long-time life. about having "balls of steel" to get your loved ones and understanding them. hahaha. weird but interesting.
Lan to KinG : don't think so much! just go do it.

He's pretty much right.
It's been a well-paved journey all along. I got to know her so much better . there were so much laughters & smiles . time stand still when I looked into her eyes . she made me happy even when she called me names . I only grant her the best I can .
I guess it's time I act on it like there's no tomorrow*

I've always kept this moment special for special people like my parents! - and the fact that my dad's paying. hahaha. *evil*
It was a pleasent meal but I wonder why are the servers so in a rush , even when they are doing so well keeping the guests happy and the food ain't taking that long.But heck. we ate..

[ practically everywhere but this is really Different ]

Unagi Kabayaki
[ Grilled Eel with Kabayaki Sauce - it's freaking huge and they made me eat most of it as I ordered it towards the end of the meal]

I've brainwashed my parents into "trying" good food once in awhile.Where next huh? hahaha

Yesterday was hell - ain't from the song Im listening to currently - Im not gonna say "but today Im fine without You" because Im not without You.As in it was practically hell yesterday in Sushi Zanmai. Glad it's over.
And if Alvin [ my new Supervisor in Zanmai ] is somehow a blog-hopper, read this - thanks for your compliment yesterday.It made my day and it is something I'll keep with me for a long time to come.
