about a week back . I had an unusual long break of about 4 and a half hours since my french class was canceled . we knew it beforehand and planned a food retreat to the uprising Tenji at Mt Kiara . we actually booked a table for 10 at 12pm but we went earlier just for the fun of it . we could already see the queue from afar . all I though was - damn! my oysters are gonna be gone before even seeing it myself - oysters I heard that are as big as a palm of a normal human .


anyway . the long queue that we were in are all that has made reservation . yeap . solely on reservation . no entry for walk-in . though said to be open at 11.30am, it was only at about 12pm that we were allowed to go in..

I wouldn't say the interior is very good but it does has a class of its own . I personally didn't stepped into the dessert area which I heard has lots of choices [ can't finish in an hour for sure ]

the oysters! I got extra 2 for myself apart from the 8 Shae got for the whole group . I ate 6 overall . I would say - I ate three pretty good ones and the rest were bad . from my personal opinion, they soaked frozen oysters and serve it straight up, the oysters kept the taste of the water that all the oysters were in . hence the foul smell

I wouldn't say Tenji is the place to go for Japanese buffet [which actually includes Chinese & Western fare as well ] though they have free flow of Thai coconuts which I kinda like . It'll be okay with the current promotion that lasts till 15th of January . then my suggestions will be a no go.


P.S. my camera ran out of battery right before I dine . so thats all the pictures I've got . I'll get some good ones from June [ if possible though ]
