Food for Thought [ I ]

Baked Mussels with Cheese

Simply choose the Mussel of your choice from any supermarket close to you or get it from where you are used to . the choice is open to you . I bought mine from Jusco the day it came in . New Zealand Mussels .
the rest of the ingredients are -

*Lemon
*Olive Oil
*Garlic
*Mozzarella Cheese
*Parmesan Cheese

there is nothing much to prepare . all are ready to go except , you need to chop the garlic cloves [ quantity based on the ammount of mussels . only a small pinch needed for each mussel . chop finely ] and defrost the mussels if they are frozen [*must be fully defrosted ] .
lay aluminium foil on baking tray and arrange your mussels however you like .
top the mussels each with a pinch of chopped garlic . sprinkle grated lemon zest onto mussels then squeeze lemon juice all around the tray to your liking with no seeds [ I squeezed alot and it came out very well ] . drizzle a little olive oil then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on mussel [ powder or grated freshly . either way ] . finally , top it of with a fair ammount of Mozzarella cheese and pop into oven of about 160ºC

keep a close eyes on it and do not overcook it . let the cheese melt slowly and turn lightly golden brown as shown in picture . if it turns brown, it might change the taste of the dish as the cheese affects the overall taste, also the texture

Voila! I wasn't exactly bored . I just wanna try . its fun though . there will be more to come . hahaha
